The use of the car is very common all over the world, and the car harness is the power source of the whole car, so the quality of the car harness is very important. However, it often happens that the whole car fails due to the burning of the wiring harness, and if the wiring harness is burned in the high-speed driving of the car, the consequences are unimaginable. So what is the cause of the car wiring harness burning?

1. Because the two terminals of ammeter often use plastic insulation sleeve, plastic heat dissipation is poor, not only to bear strong current, but also to withstand turbulence and vibration, if the wiring of ammeter is loose or poor contact, it will produce temperature rise, which is easy to cause plastic melting and grounding, resulting in the burning of power harness.

2. Because the power supply harness is often fixed with a thin iron pickup, its edge is sharp like a knife edge, and the surface of the iron pickup is not provided with insulation measures, and the vehicle vibrates and bumps for a long time, the power supply harness is inevitably damaged and cut to ground, causing the harness to burn.

3. When connecting the electrical equipment temporarily, the current inlet and outlet of the fuse are not clear, that is, the power line is drawn out at will, or after the fuse is burned, the fuse with the same specification is not replaced according to the requirements, or the fuse is replaced by thick copper wire, which loses the protection function and burns the harness.

4. Because the connection of the connecting post is not reliable, it will generate large pressure drop and generate heat. If the time is long, the insulating gasket will be damaged and the grounding will be short circuited. Note that the connection post behind the ammeter and other instruments must be connected reliably. In addition, the wire connecting screw fixed on the frame wiring board should not be too long to avoid grounding and burning the harness.

5. Because the conductor is not selected according to the regulations when replacing the conductor (the conductor is too thin), the large current will generate large voltage drop and heat, resulting in the gradual aging and damage of the conductor skin.

6. Due to careless installation of the battery, the positive and negative polarity are reversed, the internal short circuit of the alternator, the damage of insulation gasket and insulating sleeve, and the reverse connection of the magnetic field wire and grounding wire of the alternator will cause the wiring harness to burn out.
